In this project, the courtyard of a student residence in Ingolstadt was skillfully illuminated with the XOOLINE IP67 serving as the light source. Instead of opting for bright, direct light, strategically placed indirect light sources were installed above the apartment doors. The result showcases a courtyard that shines in a special brilliance. The warm, soft light of the XOOLINE IP67 gently radiates downward, creating a cozy atmosphere and casting diffuse, soft shadows on the ground. This thoughtful lighting imparts an inviting ambiance to the courtyard, providing a pleasant space for the residents.
The light lines, cleverly positioned in a groove above the doors, fade into the background during the day. This decision was driven not only by aesthetic considerations but also to prevent vandalism and ensure that the design remains timeless. The focus on the chosen light design is clearly prominent, making the XOOLINE IP67 not just a functional light source but also a design element.
