"Stairway to heaven"

One of the landmarks of the slagheap Northern Germany is the "Stairway to Heaven", which was built in 2007 as a work of art. 359 steps overcome approx. 52 meters of altitude and lead on a short way to the slagheap dome. The work of art develops its attraction especially in the darkness. The LED luminaires installed in the handrail of the staircase show a direct way up, attract magically, make attentive and curious. The handrail has been realized with IP67 protection class luminaires in the color temperature W930.
For budget reasons, the first part of the staircase was replaced with the new luminaires.
In the spring of 2022, the upper three sections of the staircase were finally equipped with the VarioLED™ IP67 luminaires and set in scene. Overall, the staircase now once again has a continuous and harmonious lighting appearance.
