During the prestigious World Economic Forum, the Scala Restaurant in the Davos Hotel Europe served as a central presentation and event venue. The redesign of this venue was conceived with a clear focus on flexibility and sustainability to meet the diverse requirements associated with such multifunctional usage.
This redesign features an innovative industrial-style lighting concept, emphasizing the combination of functionality, aesthetics, and energy efficiency. As the central lighting source, the dimmable XOOTUBE round luminaire was selected for its versatility and adaptability in creating an optimal lighting ambiance for any occasion.
Thanks to the ability to switch between warm and cool lighting, the Scala Restaurant could effortlessly transition between different atmospheres – whether for cozy restaurant operations or for high-profile meetings and presentations during the World Economic Forum. The XOOTUBE lights are visible from outside on both levels, drawing attention to the building from a distance.
