Nithan Thai Restaurant

Nithan Thai is the first Royal Thai restaurant of its kind in Israel. Nithan Thai provides its clientele with an authentic regal dining experience – exactly as it would be in the Thai royal palace, where every guest is treated like royalty.

The guests of the restaurant enjoy fabulous interior design. The inspiration for the design has come to Naomi Hurvitz, founder and owner of Nithan Thai, during her many journeys to Thailand and throughout the world. The interior design was executed by the international architect Edith Barron. Edith has designed dozens of hotels and restaurants around the world, and was chosen to fulfil Naomi’s dream, inspired by the Thai royal palace. 

Also the lighting concept of Studio Twilight reflects the unique character of the restaurant. From LED Linear™ the freely scalable light line HYDRALUX™ was used. HYDRALUX™ is IP67 protected and therefore an optimal solution for areas where food is processed or served, since it can be washed and is also protected from any liquids and vapors. Moreover HYDRALUX™ can be cut depending on the step measurement to the desired length and then easily assembled by adhesion. Thus it was possible to light any application in Nithan Thai, with tailored luminaires from the cove, over the counter through to accent lighting. The work areas are pleasantly and optimally lit with this lighting solution and the precious exhibits from Thailand are attractively highlighted.
