Mahabodhi Temple

“Be a lamp unto yourself” – Lord Buddha’s one of the last message to his disciples.
 
This ancient Buddhist temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree, in 623 B.C. It is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists, for well over two thousand years. The first temple was built by Emperor Asoka in 3^rd century B.C., and the present temple stands 50 meters high & dates back to 5^th or 6^th centuries.
 
LED Linear’s VarioLED™ Flex Venus Top View IP67 in 2,700 K CCT was used to highlight the hand carved stone structures on the ledge and to illuminate the ‘Stupas’.
