“Be a lamp unto yourself” – Lord Buddha’s one of the last message to his disciples.
This ancient Buddhist temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree, in 623 B.C. It is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Buddhists, for well over two thousand years. The first temple was built by Emperor Asoka in 3rd century B.C., and the present temple stands 50 meters high & dates back to 5th or 6th centuries.
LED Linear’s VarioLED™ Flex Venus Top View IP67 in 2,700 K CCT was used to highlight the hand carved stone structures on the ledge and to illuminate the ‘Stupas’.
