The Leipzig art institution GFZK opts for a new lighting system planned by Rubertus Lichtdesign and controlled by aralys. The advantages of the new lighting, which is now to be installed tract by tract, are manifold and benefit the foundation, visitors and art alike: drastic savings in energy and maintenance costs, more flexible staging options, better color rendering and protection of the exhibits through reduced UV emission. The payback period is less than four years.
New museum lighting in Leipzig - from white cube to black box: a contemporary presentation of modern art requires equally modern lighting technology. The combination of homogeneous, linear room light sources and precise, interchangeable Spherolit lens spotlights offers curators and exhibition technicians maximum flexibility in staging art. With simultaneously high energy efficiency and color rendering, the GFZK now has all the freedom to stage exhibits smartly controlled according to your wishes.
