As early as 2005, LIGHT ON was commissioned to renew the basic lighting of the church interior of the listed church. In the process, the lighting intensity in the choir area was increased, new orchestra lighting was installed and historic original luminaires were extensively restored.
In the course of the second refurbishment from 2020, the upper choir area was optimally illuminated by powerful miniature luminaires. A new lighting control system was also installed. The conversion to modern LED lighting technology saved a total of around 16 kW of power.
The ULTIMA-S miniature luminaire was chosen for the choir area at the top of the balustrade. With a 25° optic, the richly decorated wall with arcade-like passages from the nave to the choir is optimally staged with a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin.
